At times it feels like Google has outright copied Apple, but in order to avoid being shameless about it, they added in a few half-assed features or gimped others. If they’re just going to be a complete “me too,” own up to that. Lock your shit down. Curate your app store. Stop hiding behind your facade of openness and anti-Steve Jobs rhetoric. You attempted to ape the look and feel — this is undeniable — so just commit. Because if you do, you might have a solid competitor.
